We have been to Bermuda 4 times. There are no tenders. We always get the unlimited 3 day bus/ferry pass for about $30. These can be purchased in the Welcome building or the gift shop by the ferry landing. You catch the ferry to Hamilton or St.Georges about a 2 minute walk from the ship. We explore on our own and have always found the residents to be extremely nice and helpful if we get lost. Enjoy your trip.

There are no ship tenders, but you can use either the local buses, ferries or taxi's to get to Hamilton. For the buses and ferries, there is a reasonable daily cost depending on if you purchase a 1, 2, or a 3 day pass. The passes are good on all buses and ferries, and is a nice way to travel and see the island. I am not sure the exact costs, but the passes can be purchased right at the terminal where the ship docks and this is where you can pick up either the bus or ferry. There will also be taxi's at the pier should you decide to go that route.
