Yes, there is WI-FI in the staterooms. Before you purchase, read the descriptions of the MBs carefully (100, 300, etc.). You may not need as much as you think. Also, be sure you turn off any automatic downloads on your device. They eat up the MBs without you even realizing it. (I brought an iPad and didn't do this and wound up needing to purchase an additional 100MB for $19). The more MBs you buy, the cheaper it is. I bought 2 100MB for $19 each, but would have only needed one block had the above mentioned oversight not happened. 300 MB for $39 was more cost effective and would be more than enough for daily texting and email checking. Not a bad deal. Have fun!

All NCL ships have Wi-Fi.
You can purchase minutes in blocks of 30/60/100/250 or pay as you use.
Remember that the ship uses satellite communication for internet connection and it's quite slow.
