When do we receive our stateroom assignment?

answer 1
You should get the stateroom assigned at the time of booking unless you have a GTY booking.
GTY is for guarantee accommodation. The rate you got the room is a discount rate which means that the room will be assigned any time after the final payment is done. In some cases, the cabin may be assigned at the time of check-in. Log into your NCL account and check often for updates.

I presume you have a guaranteed stateroom category reservation, therefore the stateroom will be assigned between now and when you check-in for your cruise. Check your reservation frequently prior to departure to see if it's been assigned via "My NCL".

You are allowed to use walkie talkies but reception is not always good as the ship is mostly metal so for would likely not work sufficiently for your needs. Also, in ports of calls there use can be prohibited. As an alternative check out Norwegian's iConcierge app for Android or iPhone smartphones via the following link.

Yes, there is an adults only pool. Should you find children entering, just point it out to staff and it will be addressed. They have their own pool and play area. Last trip on the Dawn it was pretty strictly enforced. At times a one or two will slip in, but staff will take care of it.

There are no adults only pool. One of the two pool is designated as a adult pool and the other pool is for kids. However, you do find kids in the adult pools along with their parents. The rules are not strictly enforced.

The butler's job is to take care of all of your needs and requests within your suite except for cleaning which is done by a cabin steward. The butler will help you unpack and pack your luggage, keep your suite stocked with beverages, deliver food and beverage orders, serve you breakfast, lunch & dinner if you prefer to have it in your room, etc.
The concierge will make specialty restaurant reservations, book shore excursions, provide reserved seating in the theater, and provide information of all onboard activities.

They one of both: 110V and 220V with European plugs. I agree with the power strip suggestion or if you have European adapters, you can use the additional 220 volt outlet if you have a something that operates on 220 voltage (most consumer electronics...laptop, cell phone, etc.) but be careful doing this.

Staterooms have 1 or 2 each of US and European (110V & 220V) type outlets. Neither are located near the bed so an extension cord or two of about 12-15 ft. would be useful.

There is one 110-115 volt plug over the desk area. Many people bring a power strip to plug into this wall plug to extend the outlets capacity.
