MB is the category associated with your Mini-suite stateroom on deck 11 forward or aft. Refer to the descriptions and category designations via the Staterooms link above.

MB and MX categories are designation for mini-suites. The B/X specify the location of the cabin on the ship (aft, forward or middle).

Are the balconies safe with small children?

We have a 3 year old and are concerned about having a balcony mini suite with a small child.

I believe so, the railings are about 4 feet high with plexiglass; the sliding door leading to the balcony is too heavy for a child to move and can be secured; you should be fine.

Smooth sailing out of Bosotn in May?

I recently heard the seas are rough out of Boston in May. We are sailing in May 2014 and hope this is not true.

Generally speaking, sailing out of Boston is fine, of course there is no way of determining your trip, but I think it's safe to say you have a better than 50% chance at reasonable sailing.

Ask & Answer is basically a passenger forum so we would not know availability. You need to call NCL Reservations or your travel agent for answers to your questions.

This forum is more so used for general questions and insight; it seems like you are looking for something more specific; I would suggest contacting NCL directly through their toll free number and consult a travel agent.
That being said, they offer many handicap accessible rooms, and should be able to easily accommodate you.

Since you already have a reservation, you must contact NCL's reservation department or your travel agent. They will be able to change the stateroom for you and let you know the price for the extra guest. Since the number of handicap rooms are limited, I would suggest contacting NCL as soon as possible and making changes to your reservation.

Question

WHERE AND WHEN CAN I JETSKI?

asked 11 months ago
by
KOHN

answer 1
You haven't mentioned which cruise or ports you will be visiting during your cruise. Assuming that you are visiting Bermuda or the Caribbean islands, you will find shore excursions which offer jet ski packages. You can also rent the jet skis from independent operators at the port. If you are good at haggling this may be a better option. You may get it for a cheaper price or you can ask them to give you 30 extra minutes or so free of charge. Depending on your negotiation skills, you have a fair chance of getting a good deal at the port.
Log into your MyNCL account on NCL's website and it will show all the shore excursions available for your cruise or you can check this link and select the port.

Yes. You can buy bottles water onboard the ship. As per the rules of this forum, you cannot discuss cost of service and goods. However, the cost of bottled water is reasonable.
You are also allowed to carry your own water onboard the ship, Attach your room tag to a case of water and it will be delivered to your stateroom along with your bags.

It depends if there are yoga instructors available on the ship's itinerary. Usually they have some sort of classes like aerobics, Pilates, zumba, yoga etc. There is no way to say before the cruise what types of classes will be offered during the cruise.

Due to security reasons, only passengers are allowed onboard the ship. Your friends will only be able to accompany you up to the curb. Port security only allows ticketed passengers into the check-in area.

No they cannot; they can visit with you in the main waiting area at the terminal, but they are not allowed on the ship unless they are a paying passenger.
