You cannot bring your own liquor onboard the ship. Any liquor you bring onboard the ship will be confiscated by the ship's security and returned to you on the last night of the cruise. Same is true for any liquor you purchase at any of the ports you visit.
However, you are allowed to bring wine and champagne onboard the ship but there is a corkage fee per bottle.

I always bring a small clock that's illuminated. I wake up a lot during the night & like to know what time it is.
That's one item I always take along.

There are no clocks in your stateroom. The room phone shows the time on it and you can use the phone's automated wake up service to setup alarms.
The closets have about 15-20 hangers. You can always get more from the cabin steward.

The only rooms with bedside clocks, or any clocks for that matter are suites. Your steward can provide as many hangers as you can fit in the closet.

There are no clocks in the staterooms and I can only remember having seen 2 on the entire ship. As I recall there's about 12 hangers in the closet and I think you can request more from the room steward. Or pack extra hangers depending on how many you need.

Question

Isk the "Price per Guest" fee for the paid dining, the cost of the meal, or just a cover charge?

It's the only additional fee you pay for dining in the specialty restaurants. You don't pay anything else for the meal - although some of the restaurants have special dishes that carry a nominal additional charge over the cover charge.

It is the total cost of dining in that venue. You may wish to tip. If you want a second entree in the specialty restaurant it has an additional cost for a second entree.

Question

Are there private rooms with a phone that connects to the outside world?

asked 11 months ago

answer 1
Yes, all staterooms have phones which can be used for ship to shore phone calls. Cell phone service is also available once the ship is at sea via CellAtSea through Maritime Communications Partner (MCP). You may want to check with your personal service provider for any international roaming rates that would apply.

Wifi is not free, is a satellite connection which can be slow and reception on the ship varies depending on your location on the ship.

Refer to the following links for more info.

Your stateroom has a phone and you can use it to connect to anyone on land. Check the phone directions on how to make calls to any country. The charges are quite high since they use satellite communication for making the phone calls.

I'm not sure what your question is? All rooms are private rooms, that is, you are only sharing with whoever is in your party. Every room has a phone that can call anywhere on the ship and also can make calls to land. There is a significant charge to make calls home.

Jewelry is sold in a section of the store, so no separate store but the section is quite large with glass cases stored with rings, necklaces, watches, bracelets etc.The cosmetic/fragrance store is separate and also sell some custom jewelry.
They are open only when at sea.

Question

I NEED A HANDICAP STATEROOM

asked 8 months ago
by
DONLOWE

answer 1
While you can "see" which cabins are ADA compliant in the online deck plans, they should never be offered in the online booking engine. The only way that we have been able to reserve one is by calling NCL directly and telling them that we need to know availability of a handicapped cabin.

Otherwise anyone looking for more square footage could grab those cabins away from those who really need them.

OK, call NCL at the 800 number or a travel agent if you use one. Tell them the category of stateroom you want and that you need a handicap room. If one is available, they will book it for you.
Or, you can book yourself online at the NCL site. Look for the symbol for handicap rooms and take your pick.

Handicap staterooms are available on all NCL ships. You can look for them via the "Deck Plans" link above as they are denoted by a square following the stateroom number. Contacting NCL Reservations or your travel agent would be best as they can assist you in reserving one based on the stateroom category you prefer.
