If you are asking about NY, where the Star is now cruising out of, there is parking right adjacent to the ship, as of this writing the cost is $35/day. It is very easy and convenient.

All U.S. ports have public parking at the pier. There is a charge. Depending on what port you are departing from, search that port on the web for details on directions and fee's.

Depends upon which port you're departing from but most if not all have parking. Refer to "Getting to the Pier" via the "Get Ready for Your Cruise" link above.

Which port? Usually all ports have a parking garages for passengers going on a cruise.
However, it can be expensive. At the port of Miami, it's $20 per day and it adds up on a 7 day cruise.
You may want to check if any friend/family can drop you. You can also price out and see if it will be cheaper using a taxi from your starting point.

No. There are no self-service laundries. All ships offer laundry, dry clean & pressing services. They have laundry bags in your stateroom that you can give to the cabin stewards. Usually around the middle of the cruise they offer discounts on the services.
However, I wouldn't use it for any delicate or expensive dresses.

No self service but there is a laundry service. For very small items some people rinse and hang them in the shower. There is a wash line I think. At some point in the cruise they offer bag full of laundry for a set reasonable price

in the restaurants, including the specialty restaurants, do you tip the servers or bartenders in cash?

answer 1
In general, you do not have to tip in the restaurants. Tips are added on to your bill at the end of the trip.
However, you can add additional tips for exceptional service.
In the main dining room, we do tip the waiters. That way, they know you and they are more attentive to your table the next time you have dinner there.

The gratuities of all you are asking about are covered in the daily service charge you are charged each day. Those monies are then distributed to all the staff members. You do not have to tip additional if you don't want to, but I am sure it would be appreciated, but not necessary.

Yes. Even if you are booked in the same room for back to back cruises, you will have to disembark go through customs and immigration with all your luggage and then board the ship again.
Unfortunately, that's an immigration rule not a ship's rule.

The check-in process usually starts at around 11 AM and they will let you board the ship around 12 noon. However, you will not be allowed into your staterooms until 2-3 PM to give the staff enough time to clean the rooms. You can have lunch on board the ship and explore the public areas of the ship.

Whenever we have traveled (Mr & Mrs) the beds have been pushed together and it had queen sized bed sheets and blankets.
It is easy to push the beds together. You can always ask the cabin steward to join them and they will being the queen sized blankets.

Usually upon making your reservation they might ask for your bed arrangement; regardless it is a simple fix, if the beds are not arranged as you prefer, simply mention it to your stateroom attendant and they will simply make the change for you.
